Mr. Chang is Senior Adviser to JW Asset Management in Myanmar,
where he consults on the firm’s strategic directions of investment
in real assets based on a broad range of expertise in development
projects in a variety of sectors including aviation,
social overhead capital, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, real
estate and land development in emerging Asian markets, specifically Myanmar.
Mr. Chang is an adviser to numerous global investment and development
companies based on a strong network of political and economic contacts
as well as abundant expertise accumulated over his career. Prior to
joining to JW Asset Management, he served as an investment adviser to
the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). Before that,
he generalized operations for offshore helicopter deals with multiple
global companies that developed energy and natural resources.
Mr. Chang also served his country as a lieutenant in the Korean Marine Corps
Aviation serving as a pilot and as a captain in the Korean Air Force
for air support service. He was also a captain in the Korean Navy (operations service)
Mr. Chang received a bachelor’s in architecture from Dongguk University in Seoul, Korea.
